# Setting up payments

Club HubClub admins3 min read

Players, guardians and anyone hiring your pitches pay your club through its own Stripe account. You connect it in Finances; then the Club Hub’s Payments is where you ask for money.

## Connecting Stripe

Payments go straight into your club’s own Stripe account, and Stripe pays them out to your bank. LEKKIN never holds your club’s money.

You connect it in **Finances**, under **Getting paid**: the step on your checklist and **Set up payments** on **Payments** take you there. The steps are in [Connecting Stripe](/help/finances/getting-paid/). (**Payments** isn’t in the Club Hub’s menu until you’ve connected: there’s nothing to ask for until players can pay.)

## What comes next

- **Set your match subs and training amounts** on the **Templates** tab of **Payments**: see [Templates for your managers](/help/club/chasing-what-players-owe/#templates-for-your-managers).
- **Charge monthly subs automatically**: see [Charging on a schedule](/help/club/charging-on-a-schedule/).
- **See who owes what**: see [Chasing what players owe](/help/club/chasing-what-players-owe/).

What LEKKIN charges your club for add-ons is a separate bill, in the **Subscription** app.

## Fines for cards

If your club fines its players for cards, set the amounts under **Payments → Schedules → Fines for cards**: one for a yellow and one for a red, or leave a box empty for no fine. Every team uses them unless it sets its own in Team Hub. They’re on top of anything the County FA charges, which the competition’s rules decide. A team’s staff choose whether to ask each player to pay: nothing is charged by itself.

## Who can do this

Club admins. Stripe asks for details only someone who can speak for the club should give.
