# Going live: the developer platform add-on

DevelopersClub admins add it; anyone with the Developer role can build without it3 min read

When your integration works in the sandbox, it needs live keys to use your real club. Live keys come with the developer platform add-on.

## Why Live says it’s locked

If your club hasn’t added the developer platform, the **Live** side of Developers says so instead of showing your integrations, and a live key can’t be issued. Everything on the **Sandbox** side still works.

## Trying it free

In the **Subscription** app, open **Add-ons**, then **Developer platform**, and press **Start free trial**. It runs for 30 days, needs no card, and ends on its own. Only a **club admin** can start it, because it leads to a bill.

## Adding it

In the **Subscription** app, open **Add-ons**, then **Developer platform**, and press **Add**. Prices are on [Pricing](/pricing/). If your club already pays for something, like facility booking, it goes onto the same monthly bill, and nothing you already have changes.

Add it during a trial and you keep your free days: the first payment falls on the day the trial would have ended.

## If you stop, or a trial ends

-   **Your live keys pause.** Calls with them are refused until the add-on is active again.
-   **Your integrations, keys and webhooks are kept**, so switching back on needs no set-up.
-   **Test keys keep working** in the sandbox.
-   If you stopped it, you’re **credited** for the part of the month you hadn’t used.

Nothing else about your club changes.
