# Sponsors

Sponsors keeps each business that sponsors your club in one place: who to contact, what they get for their money, what they’ve paid and what they still owe.

## Adding a sponsor

Open **Finances**, then **Sponsors**, and press **Add a sponsor**. Add their name and, if you like, who to contact and how.

## Their deals

Open the sponsor, press **Sponsor**, then **Add a deal**, once for each thing they pay for: the home shirt front, the programme’s back page, a team’s training tops. Say what they get, how much, whether it’s paid once, monthly or yearly, when it starts and, if it has one, when it ends.

When their money arrives, press **Record a payment** on the deal. It goes on the books under sponsorship, and the deal shows what’s been paid against what was due by now.

## Chasing and renewing

A sponsor behind on what a deal says they owe by now is marked with what’s still to come in. A deal is marked **Up for renewal** when it ends within the next two months, so there’s time to agree the next one. Both show on the dashboard.

When a business stops sponsoring you, open it, press **Sponsor**, then **Move to former sponsors**. It moves to **Former sponsors** with its deals and payments kept, and can be brought back.
