# Answering an invitation to play

Team HubTeam managers2 min read

Say yes or no to a game another club has arranged.

## Opening it

The invitation comes as an email from LEKKIN, or as a link the other club sends (your club’s secretary may pass it on). Open it and sign in. It opens in the **Club Hub**, not the Team Hub, because it may be for any of your club’s teams.

You’re shown who’s asking, the game, when and where, the competition, and their note.

## Accepting or declining

- To play: if you run teams at more than one club, choose the club first; then choose your team (only the teams you run are listed, the best matches first, **Show all** for the rest), and press **Accept**. It’s on your fixtures straight away, your squad is told, and **Open the match** takes you to it here.
- To say no: press **Decline** and confirm. We tell them, and nothing is added.

## If it says something else

- **“There’s nobody here you can answer for”**: you don’t run a team that could play, at a club other than the one that sent it, in that sport. Pass the link to whoever does.
- **“This invitation can’t be used”**: it’s been answered, withdrawn, or has run out. Ask them for a new one.

The full guide is [Answering an invitation to play](/help/club/answering-an-invitation-to-play/) in the Club Hub’s help.

## Who can do this

A team’s manager, for their own team, and club admins. The link works once, so whoever answers first decides.
