# Your club’s own competitions

Team HubTeam managers, coaches and club admins3 min read

A summer league or a tournament your club runs: you can start one from your team, and nobody else can find it unless they’re invited.

## Where it is

Open **Competitions** in the menu (on a phone, under **More**). A competition your club runs, or was invited into, is under **Current season** once your team plays in it, and moves to **Previous seasons** when it is archived. Your club’s admins see every one your club runs in the Club Hub, whether or not your team is in it.

Each competition opens on its **Table** (or a cup’s **Rounds**), with tabs for its **Teams**, **Fixtures** and **Results**. Under them, **About this competition** says who runs it, its season, and how points are given. It also lists how a game is played there (its length, players a side, the bench and substitutions) and its **suspension rules**: how many matches each kind of sending-off brings, and how many cautions by which date bring a ban.

## Creating one

1. Press the round button in the corner, then **Create a competition**.
2. Give it a name, and choose **a league** or **a cup**.
3. Press **Create the competition**.

You can also start one while adding a fixture: choose **Add a competition…** where you pick the competition.

It’s your club’s competition, for the season running now, with your team in it. Every team at your club can play in it. Your club’s admins see it in the Club Hub as if they’d made it. If your club already has one of that name this season, you’re pointed to it: open it and add your team instead.

## Bringing teams in

Open it, then use the round button:

- **Add a team or opponent**: your team, or one of your club’s own opponents (clubs not on LEKKIN). Another of your club’s teams is entered by its first fixture in the competition, by its own manager, or by a club admin.
- **Add a new opponent**: a club not on LEKKIN, added straight into the competition.
- **Invite a club**: for a club on LEKKIN. Email their secretary or a manager, or share a link. You invite on your club’s behalf; their club admin or a manager there chooses a team, or says no, and you hear either way.

## Fixtures and results

- **Add a fixture** from the competition’s round button: choose the home and away teams from the teams in it. It can be a game your team doesn’t play in. That game shows in the competition only, never in your team’s calendar.
- From **Add fixture** on your matches, choose the competition as usual. Only the teams in it can be the opponent: add one to the competition first.
- **A game between two clubs not on LEKKIN**: open the competition’s **Fixtures** or **Results**, then **Record the result** under the game. Enter the score, and if you like who scored and any cards, with a name or shirt number. Saving again replaces what was there.
- A game with a club on LEKKIN in it is recorded by that club’s team, as any other result.

Everyone in it sees the whole competition: who’s in it, every fixture and result, and the table once it’s switched on.

## Who can do what

A team’s **manager and coaches** can add teams, opponents and fixtures, and record games between clubs not on LEKKIN. Creating a competition, inviting clubs, showing the table and archiving are for the **manager** and the club’s admins.

If your team was invited into another club’s competition, it’s listed here too. You can leave it from your team’s competitions, with **Leave**, until your team has played a match in it.
