Running a match day
Pick the squad, record the match as it happens, and get the result in — including when the signal disappears halfway through the second half.
Before the game
- On Fixtures, press Record match on the game.
- On the Team sheet, mark each player Starter or Sub. Anyone who said they can’t play is hidden, so you aren’t hunting through the whole squad; press View unavailable if you need them.
- Press Next when you’re done. It tells you how many are starting and on the bench.

During the game
The match page goes in four steps: Team sheet, Kick off, Events and Summary. It’s built for one thumb on a cold touchline, with big targets.
- At kick-off, press Start the match and say when it kicked off — Now, or another time.
- Press Record event for goals, cards and substitutions as they happen. The minute is filled in from the match clock.
- Get something wrong? Change or remove the event, and Undo brings back one you removed by mistake.
If you lose signal
Keep going. Everything you record is kept on your phone and sent when you’re back on. You don’t need to remember what you tapped, and you don’t need to stay on the touchline hunting for a bar of 4G.
When it reconnects it catches up in order, so the timeline is right even though it arrived late.
The result
When the game is over, go to Summary and press Record the result. The score is taken from the goals you recorded, so there’s nothing to type twice. After that the match is locked; press Amend match if something needs putting right.
The other club can disagree. A result is trusted the moment it goes in — nobody has to approve it before it counts — but if the opposition recorded something different, both of you are told and it’s flagged rather than one version quietly winning. That’s deliberate: waiting for approval would mean no league table until the slowest secretary got round to it.
If it’s called off
Fixtures aren’t called off from the Team Hub. Whoever runs the fixture list does it — usually the competition’s governing body, or your club’s admins for a competition the club manages itself. When a game is called off, the squad’s players, or their guardians, are told it’s off.
