Comparison

LEKKIN and Pitchero, side by side.

Pitchero gives a club a website, an app and a set of fundraising tools. LEKKIN is the running of the club: teams, fixtures, availability, match day, subs and pitches. Here is where each is stronger.

Which suits your club

Choose Pitchero if

  • You want a public club website with news, sponsors and a custom domain, run by the same product as your teams.
  • You want lotteries, ticketing or fundraising built in.
  • You want group messaging inside the same app.
  • You play a sport LEKKIN does not cover yet, such as cricket or hockey.

Choose LEKKIN if

  • You want every team the club runs on the free platform, with no advertising.
  • Your managers record football matches from the touchline, including when the signal goes.
  • You let your own pitches and want bookings in the same diary as your fixtures, without a separate contract.
  • You want subs by card or Direct Debit into the club’s own account, with no percentage taken by us.

How each charges

Pitchero. Pitchero has a free plan for one team, and paid monthly plans for more teams. Online payments are on paid plans, with a processing fee on each payment. Facility booking is through a separate partner, Bookteq. Their current prices are on their pricing page.

LEKKIN. Teams, players and guardians, fixtures, availability, match recording and notifications are free. Subs collection is one flat monthly amount set by how much a club collects, and nothing for small clubs. Facility booking is charged per bookable facility, capped. The figures are on the price list.

Questions we get asked

Is LEKKIN a free alternative to Pitchero?

For running the club, yes: teams, players and guardians, fixtures, availability, match recording for football, and notifications are free, for every team, with no advertising. LEKKIN does not build a club website, which is a large part of what Pitchero sells.

Can a club use LEKKIN and Pitchero together?

Yes. A club can keep its Pitchero website and run its teams, availability, subs or facility bookings in LEKKIN. A join link and button from LEKKIN can go on any website.
