Voting for player of the match
Some clubs let the squad choose the player of the match. When yours does, everyone who was in the match-day squad gets a vote.
Casting your vote
When the vote opens you get a message, by email and on your phone if you’ve turned that on. Press Vote now, or open the Player Hub, where Vote for player of the match shows under Needs you on your Dashboard.
Choose who you think played best and press Cast vote. You can’t vote for yourself.
Changed your mind? Open it again and choose someone else, until the vote closes. The closing time is on the page.
Voting as a guardian
If you’re a guardian, you vote for the player you look after: the page says whose vote it is. If you look after two players in the same squad, you get a vote for each.
When it closes
The player with the most votes is player of the match, and everyone in the squad hears who it was. If you were voted player of the match, you get a congratulations message.
