Notifications on your phone
As well as the email, the Club Hub can buzz your phone when a colleague messages you.
What buzzes
- a colleague at your club sends you a direct message.
If you also run a team, messages to you arrive in the Team Hub instead, and buzz there. A notification says who wrote, never what they wrote, because a phone’s lock screen is often seen by other people. Tap it to open the conversation.
Turning them on
On Android, tap Turn on notifications when the Club Hub offers it (at the top of every Messages tab), or go to Notification settings. Your phone asks once; say Allow.
On an iPhone or iPad, add the Club Hub to your Home Screen first. Apple only sends notifications to apps opened from there: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, open it from the new icon, and turn them on in Notification settings.
Then tap Send a test notification to check it arrives.
Choosing which ones
In Notification settings, each kind that can buzz has a Push switch beside its Email switch, and they’re separate. Notifications are set per device, and signing out of a device stops it.
If the page says they’re blocked, allow notifications for the Club Hub in your phone’s settings, then come back.
