Who came, and your team's reports

Team HubTeam managers and coaches3 min read

After a game or a session, mark who came. Your reports then put it beside what each player said, and add up appearances, goals and cards.

Your season on the Dashboard

The Team Hub’s Dashboard is the first page you see:

  • Next up: your next game or training, with how long until it, where it is and, for a game, both clubs’ badges and, once it’s within a week, the weather forecast for kick-off. Press Open the match (or Open the session), just under, to go there. For a game still to play, Before the game lists what to do first: Confirm match details, Ask who can play and Choose the team. Each is ticked as it’s done, and the next one is marked Next; tap one to go straight to it in the match centre. Match details tick themselves once we know where the game is (the pitch is booked, the away address is in, or the game has a venue). Who can play ticks once you’ve asked the squad, or once everyone has answered. A team that doesn’t use Who can play isn’t asked to do it. Under that, how many of the squad can make it, might, can’t, and haven’t answered yet, unless it’s a session that doesn’t ask who can make it.
  • Needs you: anything waiting for you: players who haven’t answered for the next game or session, games to record, and join requests, each a tap to where it’s done. Games to record opens Matches → Fixtures, where a game that should have been recorded by now (more than three hours after kick-off) is in a highlighted box marked Overdue. When nothing is waiting, it says You’re all set.
  • Coming up: the games and training after that. Tap one to open it.
  • This season: played, won, drawn and lost, goals scored and conceded, your form over the last five results (the newest on the right), the top scorer, cards (in football), and how many players come to training on average. Reports opens the full figures.

Beside it, Who’s out lists anyone injured now (until when, never what the injury is) and anyone serving a suspension, with how many matches are left. Each name opens that player’s page. Who sees it follows who may see injuries and suspensions: the team’s manager and coaches, team management and the club’s admins. Anyone else doesn’t see that card.

Recording who came

After a match or a training session, the staff who were there mark each player:

  • Came
  • Late
  • No show: they said they’d come and didn’t.

What each player answered beforehand is shown beside their name, so the difference is plain. Tap the lit choice again to clear it.

  • A match: it’s a step in the match centre, after the result is in. Everyone on the team sheet starts as Came, so you only tap Late or No show for the exceptions. (With no team sheet nobody is marked, as there’s no telling who played.) On Matches, Who came on the game opens it too.
  • A session: open it from Events; Who came is under Who can make it once the day has come.

A player’s page shows how often they were late, or didn’t show, beside their answers.

If your club charges for each training session, the register is what charges them. Only players marked came or late pay, so a session with no register charges nobody. If nobody has taken it by the next day, the team’s manager gets a reminder.

Reports

Open Reports from the menu (in More on a phone). Choose the dates at the top; it starts on this season.

  • Attendance: for each player, what they said, and how many they came to, were late for or missed. Choose Combined (matches and events added together), Matches or Events. Events count only if Track attendance was on for them.
  • Performance: appearances (started, and came on), minutes played, goals, goals per 90 minutes, yellow and red cards, and player of the match, from the games played. Minutes come from your lineup and substitutions, so a game where you didn’t set a lineup has no minutes, and goals per 90 counts only the games that have them. Assists aren’t recorded yet.
  • In netball, quarters too. A team whose games are played in quarters also sees Quarters: how many each player played, where any time on court in a quarter counts as the whole of it, as leagues count them. Other teams shows the quarters they played for your club’s other teams in the same dates, which is the figure leagues use when a player plays up.

Press a column’s heading to sort by it, most first; press it again to reverse. The spreadsheet download follows what’s on screen.

  • Results: every result in the dates, with your record. Choose a competition to see just that one.

Each report downloads as a spreadsheet from the button in the bottom corner.

Reports are for the people who run the team and the club. Players and guardians don’t see them.
